Welcome to Fittr ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fittr mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using Fittr, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

Fittr is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirement set by the Apple App Store for apps in its category. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Fittr is intended for general fitness tracking and is not a medical or therapeutic product.

2. Description of the Service

Fittr is an offline-first fitness tracker that allows you to log:

  • Food and nutrition
  • Workouts
  • Personal records
  • Bodyweight

All data is stored locally on your device.

You may optionally use built-in export tools to download a copy of your data.

3. User Responsibilities

When using Fittr, you agree that you will:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
  • Not upload or input any content that is illegal, harmful, or infringing
  • Use the App at your own risk

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and data.

4. Health & Fitness Disclaimer

Fittr is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary, or professional health advice. The App is intended purely for general lifestyle and fitness tracking.

You agree that:

  • All decisions related to diet, exercise, and health are your own responsibility
  • You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your health routine
  • You use the App entirely at your own risk
  • We are not liable for injuries, health outcomes, or decisions made based on information entered or viewed in the App

5. Privacy

Fittr is currently an offline-only app. We do not collect personal data, and all user-entered data stays on your device.

6. Third-Party Services

Fittr retrieves food and nutrition information from:

  • Open Food Facts API
  • USDA FoodCentral API

These services operate independently from us. We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of data they provide
  • Their availability or uptime
  • Changes they may make to their services

If future versions of the App allow optional user submissions to Open Food Facts, you will be notified and must follow their terms for contributions.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and code related to Fittr are owned by us or our licensors.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use only.

You may not:

  • Copy or distribute the App
  • Use any Fittr assets commercially
  • Create derivative works based on the App

8. App Availability & Updates

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the App at any time.

We are not obligated to:

  • Maintain specific features indefinitely
  • Provide future updates
  • Support older operating systems

You agree that we are not liable for any modification or discontinuation of the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Fittr is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the App will be:

  • Error-free
  • Accurate
  • Available at all times
  • Compatible with all devices or OS versions

Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Health-related issues
  • Injuries resulting from exercise or diet choices
  • Damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
  • Errors in food or nutrition information

You acknowledge that the App provides general fitness tracking, not professional guidance.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you in the App or via the App Store listing.

Your continued use of the App indicates your acceptance of any updated Terms.
